The Korean giant Samsung decided to enter the GPS tracking market with their new gismo Samsung Connect Auto. The tracker even looks like unusual OBDII device with its gaunt housing and bold cover.
The OBDII reading and positioning are not the only features of Samsung Connect Auto. This device works with LTE standard and can be a full-fledged internet access point. Happy car owners will get the possibility to make their own Wi-Fi for other connected devices, laptops or smartphones.
Samsung Connect Auto software package is based on Tizen OS.
Samsung will start their mass-market sales this spring, thus, a price is still unknown. According to the official announcement, the device will work under AT&T mobile networks in the United States.
